"Time will tell if the focus will narrow in the course of time." Ha ha ha ... I let this act as a preable to the rather free-style writings in this blog. Mostly casual observations in real life and media, some sports, even self-ridiculing attempts at poetry;)

Let's do what we want!

Well, I am the best speaker, of course, having not bothered to write anything here for ages.

Anyway. Iran wants to do what it wants. But they have oil, and the US wants oil. As simple as that, unfortunately. Ok, there is the small matter of the religion, too, publicly at least. Not that it would much matter with "friendly" states as Pakistan, of course. The biggest worry regarding them could well be that your poodle's territory doubts their balls. Sorry, this is Very nasty. Criky! Even. Bowling for piece!

But Sudan. Let's face it. Not excactly the central focus of the world. I mean, who had heard about a place called Darfur over three years ago?

It is just that they are killing an ethnic minority in Sudan, in hundreds of thousands (who remembers Ruanda?). One of the politically Really worrying aspects here is that they feel they can reject the UN, too, like Iran. You do not need to believe in conspiracy theories to base this belief on the fact that Iran are making a habit of the rejections. And yes, the border between US and UN is getting increasingly blurred, as the former largely funds the latter. Money talks (and bullshit walks) goes the saying.

Which is mostly WHY I am writing this post. I had a professor whose teaching was based on one question WHY? We too often ignore it. May sound childish, but is the basis of all good journalism. Unfortunately naivety is not often rewarded when trying to answer difficult questions.

Not even SkyNews, let alone Fox, would tell us about the mass murder taking place in Sudan (ok maybe 10 000 killed there get equal attention for one (1) killed in Iraq - sorry about any exaggeration). Nor are they telling about any unwanted group taking control of oil fields in Sudan (there is not much oil there as far as I understand).

Unfortunately it is too much about balance of power, it seems. Sudan can feel the power.

Epilogue

It is interesting to read the day after what you wrote. The "incredible masterpiece" reminds more of a childish rant ;(

I have to say I really admire any hacks/writers who are able to write magnificently under the influence. Not that I would not stand behind the bit I left here. But it does not say that much new, does it? Cuts the corners pretty straightforwardly if not untruthfully.

So next time, don't worry. I ban myself writing after a "proper one" in the pub.
